The Piedmont’s first real hints of Autumn are in the forecast!

Two cold fronts arrive in the area over the weekend bringing cooler, drier, and crisp fall weather. We will certainly have more, but this will be the first one to get our attention.

Saturday night through Tuesday morning will feature daytime highs in the 70’s and widespread 50’s in the Piedmont.

Don’t be surprised to see some Frost Advisories in the Mountains and foothills!

Don’t get too excited though… We still have a lot of summer left but it’s always great when that first nip is in the air.
