NC Weather Happens is brand new and experiencing some growing pains.

We’ve had to add additional space on our servers to accommodate posts and the addition of new applications. This is an exciting time especially for our social media audience to be a part of something new and on the ground floor.

Coming in the next few weeks will be the addition of a real time weather center that you will have access to 24/7. On this display, you will be able to not only see what is happening in real time, but you will also be able to create custom charts and graphs.

Also coming will be the addition of custom generated forecast products using software that uses the same algorithms as the larger weather models out there. Again, this will be available to you from this webpage.

Lightning detection system is ready but just needs to be placed on the webpage. This will be a unique feature for central North Carolina…well we will have the only one! This feature will also be part of a subscription service which will be offered in the spring.

Lastly, NC Weather Happens is soliciting advertising space so if your small business would like more exposure, the NC Weather Happens coverage area is from Durham to Statesville and Shelby to Danville, Va.
