RADAR estimated rainfall in the NW Piedmont is between 1.2 and 1.75 inches this morning. Areas in the southern Virginia mountains are reporting 3+ inches of snow so this is a real mess today.
Our area should clear out late this afternoon as the storm system gets ramped up for a trip up the coast.
